Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) and James Spence Authentication® (JSA®) are excited to be accepting submissions of sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, magazines, video games and home video collectibles at The Philly Show, being held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center – Hall A in Oaks, Pennsylvania, on September 20-22, 2024. Autographed cards and comics are eligible for JSA autograph authentication and CGC grading and encapsulation, and JSA will also be authenticating other types of sports memorabilia.

CGC, the world leader in pop culture collectibles grading, and JSA, the world leader in autograph authentication, recently teamed up and are now offering combined services for sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards and comic books. Collectors attending The Philly Show will be able to submit autographed cards and comics for authentication by JSA and grading and encapsulation by CGC in one seamless solution.

The Philly Show is the most popular sports card and sports memorabilia event in the Philadelphia area. With a handful of shows planned each year, it offers sports fans and collectors a wide variety of vendors, with an emphasis on current Philadelphia sports stars and local legends of the past. Stay tuned for this year's Celebrity Guest list and make sure to purchase tickets ahead of time to have the opportunity to meet some of your favorite sports stars and to secure their autograph. Fans and collectors alike have more than 140,000 square feet of sports cards, collectibles, memorabilia and more to look forward to at The Philly Show this September 20-22!

Preparing submissions for the show

To spend more time enjoying the show, submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service, which enables you to skip the line and quickly hand off your submission to a CGC representative.

To streamline submissions at the show, please take the following steps before arriving:

  1. Become a CGC member here.
  2. Go to the online submission form for cards, comics, video games or home video.
  3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission. Please note that you’ll have the option to choose JSA autograph authentication after choosing your primary grading services.

    Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

  4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.
  5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
  6. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
