CGC Video Games uses a highly accurate 10-point grading scale to evaluate video game boxes, cartridges, discs, manuals and game-specific inserts. Below are CGC Video Games’ grading standards for each numeric grade.
The traditional method of sealing video games is plastic wrap, with variations in the types of seals used, including seams, overlaps and Y-folds. CGC Video Games assigns letter grades to indicate the quality of a game’s seal.
